Primary logos
The logo or brand accent–the triangle and radiant line–represent RSNA’s vision for the advancement of the science and technology of radiology. The upward movement signals RSNA’s leadership in shaping the future of radiology. The emphasis on “Radiological Society” serves to position RSNA in a more global light.
To increase their impact and visibility, always use the corporate logos correctly and consistently.
Logo with name (Signature):
This is the preferred version for official correspondence and any materials promoting the brand outside of RSNA, including stationery, advertising and any communications distributed outside of RSNA. The logo and the name combine to form our corporate signature, the cornerstone of the RSNA corporate identity.
Logo without Name:
This version is to be used mainly for internal RSNA materials, including internal publications and brochures, as well as some promotional items that can accept a 2 or 4-color logo 1 inch or larger in size.
Clear Spacing and Size Constraints
Clear Spacing: In order to maximize its visual presence, the logo requires a surrounding area clear of any other graphic elements or text.
The exclusion zone is equal to twice the width of the triangle. Always allow at least this amount of clear space
around all sides of the logo. It is important that this rule is observed and the exclusion zone is maintained at all times.
The recommended minimum clearance is to protect the integrity of the logo. The logo will appear on many different applications and formats and this will help to give it clarity and presence. This is not a placement guide. It is a minimum only.
Minimum and Maximum Size: The RSNA logo must be clearly visible and reproduced consistently. For this reason a minimum size has been established. The size is 1 inch measured across the width of the logo, regardless of whether or not the tagline is used.
The logo does not have a maximum reproduction size.
Incorrect Logo Usage
Improper Applications: The following examples show improper uses of the RSNA logo. To increase its impact and maintain the voice of the RSNA brand, always use the RSNA logos correctly and consistently. Never distort or change any of the features of the RSNA logo and tagline.
When reproducing the RSNA logo, please only use an approved electronic file provided by the RSNA Marketing Department. Do not scan or attempt to reproduce the logo yourself in any way for official printed or online communications.
