RSNA description
The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is a non-profit organization that represents professionals spanning the full breadth of radiologic subspecialties in more than 150 countries around the world.
RSNA products, programs and collaborations
RSNA products, programs and collaborations should be referenced consistently in all content:
- gold medal—capitalize RSNA Gold Medal; other organization’s awards are lowercase: ACR gold medal; two gold medals.
- IHE®—Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise; Use ® in title and on first reference.
- Image Wisely®—Use ® in title and on first reference.
- MIDRC—Medical Imaging Data and Resource Center, a collaboration of RSNA and several other societies and institutions to create an open access platform to collect, annotate, store and share COVID-related medical images.
- Program titles—Titles of RSNA programs or courses should be italicized; For example, Building Connections Across the Americas: Addressing Access to Radiology program
- Quantitative Imaging Committee (QUIC) —formerly QIBA® Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers Alliance

- RSNA Board of Directors liaison for education -titles are lowercase unless preceding the director’s name

- When referencing grants, the title of the grant is RSNA (not R&E). For example, the 2019 RSNA Research Fellow Grant. Whenever possible, add the context of “awarded by the R&E Foundation,” but that is not required with every reference.
