Radiology editor, Linda Moy, MD, Stepping Down
Dr. Moy to focus on her role as the inaugural vice chair of AI for the NYU Department of Radiology
The RSNA Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Radiology Editor Linda Moy, MD, effective August 31, 2025.
Dr. Moy, professor of radiology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine, will be stepping down from her role as editor of Radiology to focus on her role as the inaugural vice chair of AI for the NYU Department of Radiology.
“Dr. Moy and her editorial team have been extremely dedicated to advancing the quality and visibility of Radiology during her tenure. We are grateful for her service and wish her well in her new role,” said Jeffrey S. Klein, MD, RSNA chair.
In her new position, Dr. Moy will work closely with Michael Recht, MD, chair of the Department of Radiology, on forward-looking ways to enhance the value proposition of radiology during this critically important stage of innovation for radiology and medicine.
“I look forward to returning to research, clinical work, and mentoring at a time when the complex environment of academic medicine needs to pave the way for deliberate applications of AI technologies and how they will be operationalized,” Dr. Moy said. “I will continue to support the important mission of the RSNA; It has been an honor to serve as the editor for the flagship journal of our field.”
RSNA will conduct an editor search in the near future. Watch Radiology and RSNA News online for the editor search announcement.
