RSNA Webinar Will Focus on Benefits of Improved Access to 3D Printing
Learn how 3D printing at the point of care impacts innovation in medical prototyping
RSNA will host a free webinar entitled, “3D Printing at the Point of Care and Its Impact on Ideation and Medical Prototyping,” on Wednesday, March 30 at noon (CT). Registration is open.
3D printing at the point of care impacts innovation in medical prototyping. Learn how improved access to 3D printing facilitates concept development and testing prior to engaging with industry.
Presenters with experience in medical prototyping will discuss their approach to developing and testing medical devices and the benefit of having in-house 3D printing services. They will address the importance of communication in the design process to ensure functionality and share information about design validation, 3D printing optimization and appropriate material selection.
A panel of speakers from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center will include:
- Justin Bird, MD, associate professor, orthopedic surgery
- Alexander Mericli, MD, associate professor, plastic surgery
