RSNA Webinar Will Discuss Impact of Implementation Science on Radiology
Radiologic researchers and educators can learn how to use implementation science
RSNA will host a webinar entitled, “Impact of Implementation Science on Radiology: What You Should Know,” on Friday, Oct. 22 at 2 p.m. (CT). Registration is open and the fee for this hour-long webinar is $35 for RSNA members and $50 for non-members. RSNA designates this internet live course for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
As a developing field that will impact research and clinical care, it’s important for radiologists to become more familiar with the basics of implementation science. Because health care and the field of radiology continue to experience transformational change, it remains critical to meet the new demands and requirements and redesign practices to adapt to the changing landscape.
Experts will review the scientific method and study design of implementation science, efficiencies in workflow and operations, applications in radiology education and how implementation science can be used to positively impact the quality and effectiveness of health care.
The webinar will be moderated by Jeffrey G. Jarvik, MD, MPH, UW Madison, and Aytekin Oto, MD, UChicago Medicine.
Additional speakers on the panel include:
- David Chambers, DPhil, National Cancer Institute
- Elizabeth A. Krupinski, PhD, Emory University School of Medicine
- Richard E. Sharpe Jr., MD, MBA, Mayo Clinic
