RSNA to Host a Webinar on Optimizing Imaging Workflow
Topics include managing workload distribution during remote reading and increased specialization
RSNA will host a free webinar on managing imaging workflow and ensuring better imaging distribution among radiologists. Entitled, “Beyond the Worklist: Optimizing imaging workflow and creating equitable distribution among radiologists,” the webinar will be held on Monday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. (CT). The webinar is sponsored by Nuance.
This webinar will focus on how the workplace dynamics of radiology reading rooms has changed. With remote reading, fluctuating imaging volumes, increased specialization and competing service level agreements (SLAs), radiology departments can easily become overburdened, often with a backlog of unread exams. In this webinar, radiology leaders will discuss the challenges of managing workload distribution in an evolving healthcare reality and the strategies they have employed to tackle the issue and create better balance among radiologists.
The webinar will be moderated by Anjali Agrawal, MD, staff radiologist, Teleradiology Solutions, New Haven, CT.
Speaking during the webinar will be John Y. Kim, MD, MPH, chief technology officer, Texas Radiology Associates, LLP, Plano, TX; Gautam Agrawal, MD, MEng, CIO and co-founder, Vision Radiology, Dallas; and Marla Sammer, MD, pediatric radiologist, Texas Children's Hospital, Houston and associate professor of radiology, Baylor College, Waco, TX.
Registration is required for this free webinar.
