RSNA 2017 Gold Medals to be Awarded to Baron, Bisset, Charboneau and Pettigrew
Gold Medals recognize exemplary service to the science of radiology
Richard L. Baron, MD, George S. Bisset III, MD, J. William Charboneau, MD, and Roderic I. Pettigrew, PhD, MD, will be presented Gold Medals during RSNA 2017.
Richard L. Baron, MD, will be posthumously recognized as a masterful diagnostic radiologist, educator, author and researcher who served as 2016 RSNA president. George S. Bisset III, MD, will be recognized for his work in pediatric imaging safety and as an educator shaping the next generation of pediatric radiologists. J. William Charboneau, MD, will be recognized as a leading authority in diagnostic ultrasound and image-guided ablation of cancer of the liver, kidney and bone.
