RSNA 2024: A Great Success!
The R&E Foundation wrapped up our 40th anniversary celebration during RSNA 2024. We enjoyed watching connections happen with so many current and past grant recipients, donors and supporters. Here’s a quick recap:
Donor Suite
Donors who contributed at least $300 over the past year had access to our R&E Foundation Donor Suite. There was a coat check, refreshments and a place to relax or network throughout the meeting.
Corporate Donor Reception
With a new panel discussion format, the R&E Foundation Corporate Donor Reception welcomed staff members from our corporate sponsors, RSNA and Foundation leaders and grant recipients. Dr. Satoshi Minoshima, 2024 Foundation chair and Michael Barber, member of the Board of Trustees co-moderated a panel discussion with sponsoring companies. Attendees had a chance to connect and learn more about the incredible work that is being accomplished through the research dollars invested from each of our corporate sponsors.
Distinguished Donor Reception
The Distinguished Donor Reception was held at the Union League Club of Chicago. This elegant venue provided the perfect backdrop for distinguished Foundation donors to celebrate the milestones of the past 40 years and toast all we hope to accomplish in the years to come.
R&E Foundation Grantee Luncheon
The 2024 grant recipients gathered to receive their awards and celebrate all their accomplishments of this past year. A highlight of the annual meeting, the luncheon offered a comfortable setting for grant recipients, trustees and staff to connect.
5k Fun Run
Despite a very chilly Chicago morning, many brave runners participated in the R&E Foundation 5k Fun Run! We had 746 registrants and raised $31,790 in support of radiology research and education.
