Education Innovation Grant

This R&E Foundation Education Innovation Grant funds projects with original and fresh approaches to educational content and products. The goal is to improve radiology education for faculty, radiologists and support staff.

Application deadline: The 2020-21 application deadline for this grant has passed. Topics for 2021 Education Innovation Grants will be announced in April 2020.

Project topics

Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Education: Basic AI/ML, Practical Applications or Implementation. 

Award amount

Grant recipients receive up to $175,000 per year for projects lasting up to three years, with a $525,000 funding cap.

Eligibility

Applicant (Principal Investigator) must be a dues-paying RSNA member at time of application and throughout the funding period.  If you are a non-dues-paying member, your scientific advisor or your co-investigator must be a dues-paying member.

Application instructions

This grant requires a pre-application, due August 30, 2019. Full applications will be accepted from invited investigators only, based on pre-application submissions. The full application deadline is January 15, 2020.
