Members-in-Training
Medical students or residents and fellows in a radiology or radiologic science program receive complimentary access to benefits in the Standard membership package and are eligible for an exclusive trainee-only discount on 2024 annual meeting registration.

Members-in-Training Eligibility and Requirements
Eligibility
The Members-in-Training category includes:
- Physicians in an approved diagnostic radiology, radiation oncology or nuclear medicine residency training program or subspecialty fellowship
- Radiologic scientists in an approved imaging sciences graduate studies program, residency training program or subspecialty fellowship
- North American medical students must be enrolled in a North American medical school approved by the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) or its equivalent.
- International students must be enrolled in a formal international medical school
Requirements
To complete the application process, please log in to your RSNA account and upload a completed program verification form signed by your dean, dean's assistant, institution's registrar, program director or coordinator. Or complete the members-in-training application (PDF) and send to RSNA at customerservice@rsna.org.
First Year in Practice
RSNA offers a 50% discount on the Standard membership package to former RSNA members-in-training now entering their first year of practice. With the Standard package, you’ll enjoy expanded access to RSNA’s member resources and receive an exclusive discount off RSNA 2024 annual meeting registration.

First Year in Practice Eligibility and Requirements
Eligibility
When you join RSNA as a member-in-training, the length of your residency is noted in your membership record. As the end of your residency approaches, RSNA will contact you about your status and future plans. If you are moving onto a fellowship program, RSNA will renew your Member-in-Training membership at no cost.
In October, if you are moving on to your first year of practice in 2024, RSNA will invoice you $349, a 50% discount on the Standard membership package.
Associate (Non-Physicians)
RSNA offers a 50% discount on the Standard membership package to non-physicians who work in the field of radiology or imaging sciences.

Eligibility
The Associate (non-physician) category includes:
- Administrators/business managers of hospitals/radiology/radiation oncology organizations (not including executive-level positions)

Military (U.S. only)

Discounts for Members in Eligible Countries
RSNA provides a complimentary Basic membership package and discounted annual meeting registration fees to qualifying members who reside in low and lower-middle income countries as defined by the World Bank List of Economies.
The Basic membership package provides access to RSNA’s premier journals and a significant discount to attend the RSNA annual meeting. Those interested in additional RSNA benefits have the option to select the Standard or Full Access membership packages and pay the full rate for those packages.
