Editorial fellowships

Gain firsthand radiologic journalism experience with an RSNA editorial fellowship. You'll work with the editors of our esteemed journals and observe the production process of the RSNA publications department.

RSNA offers three editorial fellowships:

  • William R. Eyler Editorial Fellowship
  • William W. Olmsted Editorial Fellowship for Trainees
  • International Editorial Fellowship

In each fellowship, you’ll learn about:

  • Manuscript preparation and editing
  • Peer review
  • Journal production
  • Printing and digital publishing

The 2025 application cycle for the Eyler, Olmsted and International Fellowships is closed. Applications will reopen in January 2026.

Eyler Fellowship
The William R. Eyler Editorial Fellowship is for mid-career radiologists to further their experience in radiologic journalism. Learn more about this one-month fellowship.
Olmsted Fellowship
The William W. Olmsted Editorial Fellowship for Trainees is for residents and fellows in training who are interested in scholarly publication and medical journal editorial processes. Learn more about this one-week fellowship.
International Fellowship
The International Editorial Fellowship is for early- or mid-career radiologists currently residing in a non-North American country who are interested in learning more about scholarly publishing in radiology. Learn more about this one- to two-week virtual fellowship.
