Exhibiting at RSNA
International shipping and duty-free charges
Exhibitors from outside the U.S. may enter goods into the country under temporary bond. An exhibitor that enters their goods under temporary bond must ship these goods out of the U.S. within 30 days of the close of the RSNA meeting to avoid duty and penalty charges.
RSNA contracts with Rock-it Cargo Fairs & Exhibitions for freight forwarding and customs clearing services. For more information about temporary import bonds or other questions about international shipping, contact:

Drayage rate based on weight
Drayage is the delivery and removal of your freight from the loading dock to your exhibit space. Drayage rates are charged per CWT (100 pounds or approximately 45 kilograms). Rate information will be available in our exhibitor service kit in July.
The maximum live floor load at McCormick Place is 400 pounds per square foot (approximately equal to 6,400 kilograms per square meter). If your equipment and/or exhibit will meet or exceed this amount, please email the RSNA Exhibition Services department at exhibits@rsna.org or call 1-630-571-7850.
Shipments may be sent up to 30 days in advance of the meeting to the general contractor's warehouse for storage.
Check our dates and deadlines page for the exact dates the Advance Warehouse is available to receive shipments.

Metric conversion
Guidelines for booth design and configuration are available in the RSNA exhibitor rules and regulations. Provided measurements within the rules and regulations are in feet and inches. The table below provides basic conversions. Visit the worldwide metric website to convert your own measurements.
1 foot = 0.30 meters | 30 feet = 9.14 meters |
10 feet = 3.04 meters | 50 feet = 15.24 meters |
20 feet = 6.09 meters | 80 feet = 24.38 meters |
Translation service
RSNA recommends that exhibitors have at least one English-speaking representative available during the installation and dismantling periods. In some cases, RSNA or its contractors may be able to arrange for laborers fluent in your native language. However, this is not guaranteed. A list of interpreter service companies is available through Choose Chicago.
