Getting to/from McCormick Place

Shuttle Bus

RSNA provides complimentary shuttle bus transportation between hotels in the RSNA block and the McCormick Place Convention Center.

Metra Electric Train

Ride the Metra Electric Trains for free using the Metra ticket located in your registration wallet. Trains run from downtown Chicago stations (Millennium Station, Van Buren/Jackson Street, and Museum Campus/11th Street) to the McCormick Place Convention Center Station in just 7 minutes. Stations are located within walking distance to many hotels.

Chicago Transit Authority — CTA

The CTA's convenient and easy-to-use bus and elevated/subway train lines — including the famous "L" — carry you around town and to major attractions. The CTA website offers a valuable overview of transit services, a guide to the system, instructions for first-time riders and much more.

Taxi

Taxi service is available throughout the city and can cost anywhere from $5 to $30 per ride.

Chicago cab fare rate and information:

• The flag pull or initial charge to enter a cab is $3.25
• Each additional mile is $1.80.
• Every 36 seconds of time elapsed is $.20.
• First additional passenger is $1.00, each additional passenger is $.50
• Airport departure/arrival tax is $2.00
• Tolls are an extra charge
• Tipping is customary for good service.
• Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit cards

Parking Garage

For parking at the North and South Buildings, use Lot A (also known as Martin Luther King/MLK Lot). Covered walkways from Lot A lead directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel. Overnight parking is available in Lot A only.

For parking at Lakeside Center, use Lot C (also known as Lakeside Garage). This is an underground garage located on Ft. Dearborn Drive, adjacent to the Lakeside Center. No overnight parking is available in Lot C.

Entrance: 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Exit: 24 hours
Fee: $21 per entry (for up to 16 hours) / $32 per day for overnight parking (Lot A only)
