In 2023, Radiology was the most cited journal in its field, ranking first in journal citation indicator and second in impact factor among 204 journals in the Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Medical Imaging category. It received an impact factor of 12.1 and was cited 59,748 times.

RSNA’s primary education journal, established 1981

Edited by Christine Cooky Menias, MD, RadioGraphics is RSNA’s primary education journal, featuring articles focused on a variety of radiologic subspecialties, including imaging physics, informatics and diagnostic imaging. Each issue includes continuing medical education opportunities to promote lifelong learning. Active RSNA members receive a free subscription to RadioGraphics.

In 2023, RadioGraphics earned an impact factor of 5.2 with 15,185 citations.

RSNA’s first open access journal, established 2024

Edited by Susanna I. Lee, MD, PhD, Radiology Advances includes a broad spectrum of high-quality international radiology research, freely available to readers without a subscription. Reflecting the wide breadth of imaging sciences and innovations in technology and clinical practice, Radiology Advances primarily publishes original multidisciplinary research articles with a focus on emerging topics, cross-cutting and innovative research.

RSNA’s machine learning medical journal, established 2019

Edited by Charles E. Kahn, Jr., MD, Radiology: Artificial Intelligence focuses on the application of emerging technology in radiology. Topics include the impact of AI on diagnostics and patient care, AI’s role in radiology education, and the ethical implications that AI presents in the medical field. This publication is available online and is free for active RSNA members.

In 2023, Radiology: Artificial Intelligence earned an impact factor of 8.1 with 2,163 citations.
